In the second semester the students will have to submit a case study/minor project report on any of theire own topic. Then a seminar and dissertation is scheduled in the third semester under the guidance of faculty members of the department.

Co-curricular Activities

The Computer Science and Engineering Department of the institute works continuously to keep the students aware of the latest technology and thus produce young budding technocrats who can bring laurels to the institute, and this was the cause of the launch of Computer Science and Engineering Department Students' society named "KRITI - the creative vision".

The society works for the all-round development of the students. It also aims at keeping the students aware of the latest market demands and happenings as well as the technological trends. The society mainly works in the following fields-

The society was launched on the eve of the National Science Day, i.e. 28th February 2004.The society is continuously progressing under the proper guidance of Mr.D.S.Yadav, the Head Of the Department and the executive committee of the society consists of students from third year and final year. The motto of our institute is “Gyan Bharam Kriyam Binam” which means that knowledge is a load without application. The students of this institute are not only rich in technical and academic skills but they also excel culturally. To celebrate all these skills of our students, our cultural fest ‘ENCORE’ is organized every year. It is our institute’s cultural and technical fest. Other colleges from throughout the country are invited to participate in the fest.

Encore stands for Endeavour, Nous, Creativity, Opera, Rollick and Enthusiasm.This is the theme of Encore with which we budding engineers bring out the very best in ourselves. It provides a platform for self-analysis and also enhances managing,organizing and many more hidden capabilties among the students.

Musical Night :

It is not "all work no play" in IET. Every year ISSACC organizes a 3 days sports meet where the students show their stamina and will power. Different kind of sports and games make the technocrats strong & perfect. IET believes in exploring the students' ability to the fullest.

On the whole, the institute strives to develop the overall personality of its students through encouraging the above mentioned activities. All the events are completely managed by students themselves from the planning the resource generation to the final execution.
