About Us
The IET was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1984, for imparting engineering education and for promoting technological research to generate suitable technical man power. The Institute is fully residential and financed by U.P Government. The Institute is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). The University's Head Quarters are located in IET Campus.

Unique features of the Program
- In case students are interested in taking additional subjects, they are permitted to audit one subject per semester, depending on their previous academic record.
- At the end of summer / winter interenship, feedback is taken from the industry where they were working. This helps in planning their furthur development.
- We hace pioneered a cncept of corporate mentorship where the student work with a consultant, company executive continuosly for a strech of time any academic topic doing esearch work or some practical assignment. The outcome is sheer learning. This is availiable only for a select group of students.
