Hostel Facilities

Well furnished residential facilities, separate for boys and girls, are available for students. These facilities are available at affordable levels and within walking distance from department.

Computer Laboratory           

The institute has a central computer library. In addition, the MBA department has its own computer laboratory. The computer lab is equipped with the latest hardware and software facilities to handle all the requirements of the students. Students get an opportunity to develop their skills according to the global needs and international standards.

Library Facility                        

An important asset of IET is its library, which provides a highly conducive environment. Fully computerized well-stocked library with over ten thousand titles, references on variety of topics and subscriptions to various periodicals and research journals is a feast for the students.

Sports & Recreation Facilities   

A wide variety of sports facilities are provided within the campus. Sports facilities are also available in the hostels. The campus has basketball, throw ball and badminton courts. Facilities are also available for cricket, carrom, table tennis and chess.

Training and Placement Services

Industry Institute Partnership Cell (I I P Cell) :

The institute has been granted Industry Institute Partnership Cell in 1999 by Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. The broad objectives of this cell are-

• To develop strategies for the promotion of technology.
• To provide information to the industries about the emerging areas of technology.
• To collaborate with the industries for joint research projects.
• Inviting industry personnel to the institute to share their experience with the students.
• To conduct short term courses for persons working in industry.
• To develop curriculum to suit the needs of the industry.
• To arrange vocational training for the students in industries.
• To take R&D projects of the industries and provide solutions to them.
• To arrange campus interviews and provide placement facilities to the students.
• Training & Placement Cell---

The training and placement services are provided under the IIPCELL. The cell provides information about various career options to the students and helps them planning their career in advance. In addition to this it provides up-to-date career information, employment trends, and salary statistics and coordinates on-campus recruitment.

The MBA students go for their summer training and projects periodically into the corporate world.
